Coaching for the
backcountry.
I've thru-hiked the AT, guided professionally, and spent more nights in the backcountry than I've kept count of. These services are how I put that experience to work for you.
My approach is direct and practical. I don't sell you a dream — I help you build a realistic plan, dial in your systems, and get on trail ready for what's actually out there. Whether you're planning your first thru-hike or your tenth trip into the backcountry, the work is the same: strip out the noise, keep what matters, and execute.
Thru-Hiker Prep & Training
Planning a thru-hike is a full-time job if you let it be. I help you cut through the gear obsession, resupply anxiety, and information overload and build a simple, executable plan — gear system, training, logistics, and realistic expectations for the trail ahead.
Who this is for: first-time thru-hikers and section hikers preparing for a major distance goal on the AT, PCT, CDT, or any other long trail.
I'm not taking clients yet — but I'm building the waitlist now.
Trip Planning
Route selection, resupply strategy, permit logistics, itinerary design — I handle the planning so you can focus on the trip. Available for individuals, groups, and corporate retreats looking to get people into the backcountry without the guesswork.
Who this is for: anyone planning a multi-day backpacking trip who wants a thorough, realistic plan from someone who's done it.
I'm not taking clients yet — but I'm building the waitlist now.
On-Trail Concierge
Active support while you're on trail. Resupply coordination, logistics troubleshooting, experience documentation, and regular updates to the people back home who want to follow along. The support structure that lets you focus on hiking.
Who this is for: thru-hikers who want logistical backup and/or to document their experience — and the families and friends who want to stay connected to someone's journey without bothering the hiker.
