How this site
makes money.
This site doesn't currently participate in any affiliate programs. That may change — if it does, this page will reflect it before any affiliate links go live.
How It Works
Affiliate links are tracked URLs that tell a retailer I sent you. If you make a purchase, I get a small cut of the sale. The price you pay is identical to what you'd pay going direct. This is how most gear sites stay funded without charging for content.
What I Link To
I only link to gear I've actually used or would carry. The commission structure doesn't determine what ends up on the Kit page — if I wouldn't trust it on a long trail, it's not here regardless of what it pays. Gear I think is overpriced or underbuilt gets said so plainly.
Current Affiliate Programs
None at this time. When affiliate relationships are established, they'll be listed here by retailer and platform before any tracked links appear on the site.
Sponsorships
None, currently. If that changes, sponsored content will be labeled clearly — not buried in small print. The no-sponsors stat on the homepage isn't a bit, it's a constraint I'm holding myself to until I find a partnership worth the trade-off.
